The Committed Owner Package

Ages 3.5 mos and above.

This package provides the committed owner the flexibility to join ongoing classes as often as needed until basic goals are met.

  • Includes all the material in our Basic Manners class plus more.
  • You can start as soon as you register with the very next available class.
  • Classes are ongoing so if you miss one, show up the next week!
  • Come as often as needed to meet your goals within your 3 months.
  • You can come to one or two activity classes at a time.

 Get your dog all the way to the top in one easy, flexible package!

The package includes the following:

Leadership/Behavior Workshop: Learn the proper way to educate your dog so he does respond to your commands. The workshop also covers behavior issues such as nipping, housetraining, chewing, jumping, and any out of control behaviors.

Wait Safely: Teach your dog to not lunge out of cars or doors unsafely and even to stay out of certain rooms/areas.

Settle Down: Teach your dog to stay in a down command while you cook, eat, have a conversation, enjoy your coffee at Starbuck, etc.

Sit Happens: Teach your dog to stay in a polite sit whenever needed.

Off my Stuff: Teach your dog to stay off road kill, poop, remote controls, socks, kids toys, etc.

The Unleashed Leader: Teach your dog to walk properly on a leash, come, and strengthen your stay.

Empowering Dog Owners Workshop: Close up the loopholes on your training with your dog.

Valued at $395, this package fee is only $195!
You have 3 months to complete all classes. After which you can do any needed class for only $20 each!

Basic Manners for your Dog

Ages 3.5 mos and above. Want to improve your dog's behavior at home and in public? Would you like to socialize your dog properly around people and other dogs, strengthen your bond, and build a sound relationship based on leadership that your dog understands? In Basic Manners, we give you the tools you need to do all this and have fun with your buddy! We'll show you how to teach your dog self-control—imagine, no more jumping on guests, lunging at the door, and barking excessively. You'll also learn how to give basic commands such as sit, down, come, walk without pulling, off, sit politely for guests and so on. We'll even show you how you can incorporate them into your busy daily life. Sign up now and in only seven weeks, you can enjoy a well-mannered, well-rounded member of the family! Advanced Manners for your Dog

Ages: 6 mos and above. Prerequisite: Basic Manners or equivalent. Improve your dog’s manners by taking him to the next level. Focus is on stronger sits/downs around increasing distractions, sitting politely during conversations or being petted, walking up to other dogs politely, and additional socialization and relationship building. You will be rewarded with pride when testing your dog on the last class for his AKC Canine Good Citizen certification that states that your dog is well mannered at home and in public. Feisty Fidos

Does your dog lunge, bark, or react aggressively or seemingly aggressively toward people or dogs? If so, this class is for you and your dog! Using his more than 25 years of experience, specialist Donnie Hult will show you to teach your dog to behave politely in public around people and dogs — and to remain calm around various distractions and situations. The first two classes are at Falls Village Veterinary Hospital and the next two are at Shelley Lake. These classes are outdoors for real life effect. If you want to turn your feisty fido into a dignified doggie, hurry … this class is limited and fills up quickly!

Search and Rescue

This great class helps you to give your dog a job to do, mental stimulation, exercise, and bonding. You and your dog will learn to find humans hidden in the woods! Pet Therapy

This class is for adult dogs that have the prerequisite AKC Canine Good Citizen certification. If your dog absolutely lives to be petted, guess what? Your dog might be a great candidate to give joy to the elderly in nursing homes or kids in hospitals or schools. The class prepares you to test for pet therapy registrations so you can visit nursing homes with a well-behaved canine that you can be proud of. We will give you the options for the organizations who test for pet therapy during class. Also great for further socialization and training, this class is five weeks plus a field trip. No dogs first day of class.
